If you experience sudden onset vertigo, it’s important to seek care immediately. While dizziness and headaches can often be treated at home, cervical spine problems may be serious and require chiropractic care.
At Ager Chiropractic Wellness Center, we offer various treatments for dizziness and headaches. Many people don’t realize dizziness can be traced back to a problem in the spine. We’ll do a whole body assessment to locate the source of your problem and create a plan to correct the issue.
An Unexpected Occurrence
Joshua K. is a 44-year-old man who worked with Dr. Sandy on her weight loss program. He started having some heart tissues and received chiropractic care, in addition to his other medical care.
After his cardiologists ruled out a heart issue, Joshua had no idea what was causing his sudden onset vertigo. When he came to our clinic, pale, dizzy, and nauseous, Dr. Sandy was concerned about his ability to drive. After she adjusted him while the symptoms presented, he felt better and his color returned. She also used the Epley’s maneuver for vertigo—and the room was no longer spinning.
Joshua would be okay for a few days, and the symptoms would return. Dr. Sandy found a problem in his upper cervical spine, and it took several adjustments to clear up the vertigo and headaches that accompanied it.
The Results
Joshua has had no problems for the last few weeks. His doctors prescribed medications, which increased his blood pressure. He’s very happy knowing he doesn’t need those meds, because chiropractic took care of the problem. And now he’s able to go back to doing everyday activities without worries.
